Title Bar Icons for Sidekick LX
The following icons can appear in the title bar of your Sidekick LX.
|Full data and voice service available. The more signal bands showing, the stronger the signal strength of the wireless connection at your current location.|
Connectivity status indicators. Animated one dot = connected to the GPRS/EDGE network, trying to get IP address; animated two dots = obtained IP address, connecting to data server; animated three dots = connected to data server; = signed in and connected to data service; ready to go!
When the "hollow" phone icon appears, you are restricted to emergency calls on the Sidekick.
Battery charge. The more bars that fill the battery icon, the more charge in the battery.
Battery charging. When your Sidekick is connected to the battery charger, a lightning bolt icon displays over the battery icon and the bars in the battery move from left to right. You'll know the battery is fully-charged when the lightning bolt icon disappears and the battery bars stay in the full position.
No wireless connection. If you see this X over the radio tower icon, it means you have temporarily lost network connection.
Voice-only (GSM) service available.
Call forwarding is on for all calls. Your Sidekick LX will not ring.
You are roaming on wireless services but have GPRS/EDGE data roaming turned off on the Jump screen Menu > Settings > Network Options screen.
You have turned off your wireless connection.
Your SIM card has a problem, which is prohibiting access to wireless services.
Bluetooth indicator. When you see this icon just to the left of the, you know that Bluetooth features are available.
Memory card insertion/eject icon. When you are inserting or ejecting the card, you will see the memory card icon with an arrow; the arrow points left when inserting, right when ejecting.
When data is being written to or from your memory card, you will see this icon flashing in the title bar of your Sidekick, just to the left of the date.
USB connector icon. When your Sidekick is connected to your computer using the USB port, you will see this icon in the title bar, just to the left of the date. Note that when your Sidekick is attached to your computer via USB, the contents of your memory card cannot be read by the Sidekick LX.
Sound Profile setting. When you have sound turned off ("Silent"), the title bar will indicate whether you have flashing lights or vibration set. From top to bottom, the icons indicate: total silence (no flashing lights or vibration), flashing lights only (no vibration), vibration.
New email message waiting. Appears to the left of theconnectivity icon.
New text message waiting. Appears to the left of the connectivity icon.
New instant message (IM) waiting. (Icon may vary depending on your IM service provider.) Appears to the left of the connectivity icon.
New multimedia message waiting. Appears to the left of the connectivity icon.
New voice mail message waiting. Appears to the left of the connectivity icon.
Web page has finished loading on your Sidekick. Appears to the left of the connectivity icon.

hey every body,
i just bought my sidekick lx 2007, from US. and i placed T-mobile simcard inside but i can't go through internet. i change many times the APN, but i still dont find internet, according to the seller i may go to the T-mobile company to apply me a data pan service for sidekick but the could find anything here in Netherland so does anybody know about how to activate sidekick network?
please can anybody helpe me out here?
i have T-mobile NL so they couldnt find anything about data plan for sidekicklx 2007
