This page describes how to use the year view in the calendar.

The Year view opens to the current year and lets you look forward and backward across months in one glance.

This view is handy if you need to plan an event that is at least a month ahead. To open the Year view, from the Jump screen, select the Planning category. From this second-level ring of applications, select Calendar, then press MENU How to use the year view - Sidekick and select Views > Year [How to use the year view - Sidekick 6].

Year View Features

  • The current month is shown focused by default.
  • The current day is shown in a white circle.
  • To drill down into a more focused view, first highlight the month you're interested in, then press. Now, in the Month view, you can roll the TRACKBALL to highlight a specific day. Once you've highlighted the day you want, press the TRACKBALL. The Day view opens to your selected date. From there you can view or open events.

Year View Navigation Tips

  • Use the TRACKBALL or D-PAD to scroll from month to month.
  • Use the menu or shoulder button shortcut keys to go to the Next Year How to use the year view - Sidekick or Previous Year How to use the year view - Sidekick .
  • Press How to use the year view - Sidekick How to use the year view - Sidekick to jump to January or press How to use the year view - Sidekick How to use the year view - Sidekick to jump to December in the currently-displayed year.
