This page describes how to use the wired stereo headset.

Plug your stereo headset lead into your device headset jack as shown above. Be sure to plug the headset into your device before your initiate or answer a call.

Caution! If you think you'll be using the phone while driving, insert the headset before starting the drive. Also, be sure to insert the headset completely into the jack; partially inserted headsets can cause a squealing sound during a call.

Stereo Headset Button While using the stereo headset, you can use the headset button as described below. Note: When you press the headset button, be sure to hold it down for a few seconds.

  • While on standby:
    • Press the headset button once to answer an incoming call.
    • Press the headset button twice to redial last number called.
  • While on a phone call:
    • Press the headset button once to end the active call.
    • If you receive a second incoming call while already on a call, press the headset button once to answer the incoming call and put the first caller on hold.
    • With two active calls (one foreground and one on hold), press the headset button once to end the foreground call and press again to resume the call on hold.
