This page describes how to uninstall and reinstall downloaded items.

To make room for more downloaded applications, you can "uninstall" downloaded applications currently on your device. You can always reinstall the application at no charge, assuming you have enough blocks free.

1. From the Jump screen, select Catalog, then scroll up and select Downloads.
2. From the Downloads screen, open the folder containing the item you want to uninstall. (To open a folder, highlight the folder then press the D-PAD or roll the TRACKBALL right.)
3. Roll the TRACKBALL to highlight the item you want to uninstall, then press the TRACKBALL to open the Item Details screen.
4. Select the Uninstall button. A confirmation dialog box appears; select Uninstall to proceed or CANCEL to keep the application on your device after all.
5. The application will uninstall; when finished, the Item Details screen reappears with the button now reading Reinstall.
6. When uninstalled, the application name appears in the Downloads screen in italic. Also note that opposite the application name, to the far right, the device icon is absent, indicating the application is no longer being stored on the device.
   
7. To reinstall the application, simply select the Reinstall button on the Item Details screen. The application status reads "Uninstalled" until the application has been re-downloaded.
8. When the application has been re-downloaded and is ready to install, you will see the Application Ready dialog box. Select either Install & Restart or Install Later, as you prefer. Installation progress is reported on the screen; when finished, your device will reboot.
9. Your application will reappear in the appropriate category on the Jump screen.

Note: You can also uninstall a downloaded application from the second-level Jump screen. Simply highlight the application, press MENU then select Edit "Name-of-App" > Uninstall.
