This page describes how the headset can be changed to stereo or mono.

Unlike other Sidekick models, the Sidekick 3 has a preferred headset setting. Here is how to use it:

1. Press the Jump button
2. Press the Menu button.
3. From the pop-up menu, select Settings, Sound Profiles.
4. Scroll to the section titled Preferred HeadSet.
   • If the option Use mono headset is selected, that makes even a stereo capable headset output in mono-aural. Generally it is better to leave this option unselected (no check mark beside it).
5. Press the Menu button.
6. Select Done.
