This page describes how to select songs or multi-select songs.

You can select more than one item in any given view. This allows you to perform a single action on multiple songs. For example, if you highlight two artists in the Artist view, from the menu you can then select Queue Artists, adding all songs by the two selected artists to the Play Queue in one command.

• To select contiguous items (items adjacent to each other), highlight the first item, then hold the SHIFT key while pressing the D-PAD or rolling the TRACKBALL up or down. To deselect, press the TRACKBALL.

• To select items not adjacent to each other, highlight the first item and press SHIFT + TRACKBALL. Release and then roll the TRACKBALL to highlight the next item you want to select. Press SHIFT + TRACKBALL again. Continue until all items you want are selected. To deselect all, press the TRACKBALL alone.
