This page describes how to search for songs within the categories.

To limit a search to one of the views, select the view from the Browse Music screen, then either start typing the name you want to find, or press MENU and select Search [ F]. You will search on the items listed in the view. For example, from the Browse Music screen, if you select Artists then press F, you will search on artist names. If you select one of the artist names and press F, you will search on album names. If you select an album then press F, you'll search on songs.
