This page describes how to discard photos.

You can always discard photos you've stored in your albums, from any of the views except Actual Size.

1. Scroll to highlight the image you want to discard, then press the TRACKBALL to select it (optional if you're just discarding the one photo). If you want to discard more than one photo, use the multiple selection methods.
2. Press MENU then select Discard [ ]. A confirmation dialog box appears.
3. Select Discard to delete the image(s) from your albums. If you decide to keep the photo(s) after all, then select Back .
