This page provides informations on how to connect and transfer files to and from the Sidekick 3 to a MAC OS X.
  1. Connect the Sidekick 3 to a Mac OS X with the USB cable that came with the device.
  2. After a few moments, a generic drive icon appears on the Mac OS X desktop.
  3. The drive icon may be labeled 'No Name' or similar, depending on whether the miniSD card in the Sidekick 3 was formatted with a name or not.

  4. Click the drive icon to open it in a Finder window.

    1. In the Finder window, transfer files between the computer and Sidekick 3 as desired. This can be done by dragging and dropping the files.
      1. The two prominent folders that appear are:
      • DCIM: For JPG pictures files.
      • Music: For unprotected MP3 files.
    1. To disconnect the Sidekick 3 from the computer, drag the icon to the Mac OS X Trash.

    2. When the Trash can icon transforms into an Eject icon, release the drive in the Eject icon.

    3. Physically disconnect the Sidekick 3 from the computer.
