:) Emoticons While you're in a conversation you can add emoticons (smileys) to your message:

1. With an open conversation on your screen, press MENU then select Emoticons [ Y] to open the Emoticon submenu.
2. Scroll to highlight the emoticon you want to insert into your conversation, then press the TRACKBALL to place it. You can also insert a emoticon by typing the ASCII equivalent (the center column in the menu).

Note: On devices that do not support the graphical emoticons, the ASCII version of the emoticon will be displayed. ex :)
