Do the following to configure your applications:
  1. From the Intellisync Main window, click the Set Up button. The Configuration Settings dialog box opens.

  2. Select the application you want to synchronize, then click the Choose button to open the Choose Translator dialog box. (Translators are the programs that allow data to be exchanged between two different platforms; e.g., the hiptop and your Outlook desktop client.)

  3. In the Available Translators group box, select the Outlook translator.


  1. In the Operation group box, select the operation you want to perform: Import, Export, or Synchronize:

    • If you select Import, the system will transfer the records from Outlook to your device.

    • If you select Export, the system will transfer the records from your device to Outlook.


    • If you select Synchronize, the system will compare records on your device to those in Outlook and make whatever changes are necessary (additions/deletions/edits) to both systems to ensure that they contain the same information.

  1. In the Folder Name list, the logical folder(s) to include in the operation will appear by default. To change the folder, click Browse and navigate to the folder in which your relevant Outlook data is stored.
7.Click OK to dismiss the dialog box and return to the Configuration dialog box.

  1. If you want to select another application to synchronize, select it and repeat steps 3 through.
9. When finished, click OK to close the Configuration dialog box. Then click Save on the Configuration Settings page.

  1. You're ready to click the Sync button and synchronize your data.
