To reach the General settings screen, press Menu

then select Settings > General. The Settings screen opens:
- My Phone Number Just in case you forget your device's phone number, it's shown on this screen. If, for some reason, your phone number does not appear, you can manually enter it by selecting the Enter Number button. Note that entering a number on this screen does not actually change your phone number. If you need to change your phone number, contact your wireless operator.
- Accumulated Call Time and Reset If you are keeping track of your calling time and need to reset the time to zero, select the Reset button. If, for some reason your phone number is not read from your SIM card, then you can enter it manually by selecting Enter Number. In the normal course of events, this should not be necessary.
- Incoming Call and Voice Mail Ringtones You can set up your device so that you're notified of an incoming call or new voice mail by a ringtone you select.
- To set an incoming call ring, select the Incoming phone call ring pop-up menu and select a ringtone from the hierarchical menu.
- To set a new voice mail alert, select the New voice mail alert pop-up menu and select a ringtone from the hierarchical menu.
- If you do not want to be notified of a new incoming call or voice mail, select None.
- Volume Settings for Phone, Headset, Speakerphone Select one of the volume buttons to open the slider. Rotate the wheel up to increase volume; rotate the wheel down to decrease volume.
