Note: You cannot discard your device email account (the account listed first in the Accounts screen).

To discard any other email account, do the following while in the Email application:

1. From the Browse Email screen, press MENU then select Settings > Accounts. The Email Accounts screen opens.
2. Scroll to highlight the button opposite the account name you want to discard. Do not select the button.
3. Press MENU then select Discard [ ].
4. A confirmation dialog box appears. Select Discard to discard the account; select Back to keep the account intact.
