Create a Contact on the Sidekick LX

1. From the Browse Contacts screen, press MENU then select New Contact [ N]. The New Contact Identity dialog box opens. The Identity screen holds basic contact information, including a pop-up menu of icons you can assign to the contact as well as Photo ID from one of your photo albums. Complete at least one of the fields, then select DONE
   
2. The full Edit Contact Details screen appears.
   From this screen you can:
   
   • select the contact category
   • add phone numbers (up to ten)
   • add email addresses (up to five)
   • add instant messaging names (up to five)
   • add Web addresses, or URLs (up to three)
   • add street addresses (up to three)
   • add a note
     
   To add information, roll the TRACKBALL to highlight the appropriate button, and press. A screen opens in which you can add the information.
   
3. Add contact information to each screen, then select DONE . Continue through the Contacts screen until you have added all the information you wish.
   Note: Before you can save the contact information, you must have provided one of the following pieces of information:
   
   • First or Last name
   • Phone Number
   • Email address
   • Company name
     
4. To save all the pieces of information you've added to the contact screen, press DONE Tip: If you cannot select DONE from the menu because it is dimmed, then you must stay on the contact screen and add one of the required pieces of information listed above.
   To cancel adding the new contact, press MENU then select Discard Contact.

Edit a Contact on the Sidekick LX

1. From the Browse Contacts screen, highlight the contact's name then press MENU E to open the Contact Edit Details screen. The contact's information appears for editing.
   
   
2. Edit information as you wish. Note that you can discard an entry quickly by highlighting the entry and pressing the Discard key.
   
3. When finished editing, press DONEto save your changes. To cancel your edits, press MENU then select Discard Edits
