Create a Display Image for Yourself-Sidekick LXThis is a featured page

Use this setting to create a display image using a photo you've taken with your device. Once you set a display image, it appears in the conversation window when other friends are talking to you and it also appears next to your name on their Friends List.

To set a display image, do the following:

  1. If your Friends List isn't displayed, press MENU Create a Display Image for Yourself-Sidekick LX - Sidekick then select Friends List Create a Display Image for Yourself-Sidekick LX - Sidekick.

  2. Press MENU Create a Display Image for Yourself-Sidekick LX - Sidekick then select Settings > General.

  3. Select the My Display Image check box.

  4. Roll the TRACKBALL to highlight the icon selector then press to expand the selector.

  5. To show the "Yahoo! Messenger" image, select that icon. To select an icon from one of your photo albums, select the photo icon and the Browse Photo Albums screen in the Camera will open.

  6. From one of your photo albums, select the photo you want to use as an icon and press DONE Create a Display Image for Yourself-Sidekick LX - Sidekick.

  7. Back on your Yahoo! Messenger Settings screen, press DONE Create a Display Image for Yourself-Sidekick LX - Sidekick to save your display image setting.

Note: If you set a display image on both the desktop client and your device client, then users will see the icon assigned from the last client from which you signed on.
