You can always send photos from your device to an email account you can open on your computer, as a way to transfer a photo to your computer's hard drive. Sometimes this is not practical when the photo image sizes are large. The way you copy photos directly to your computer differs, depending on where your photos are stored: built-in device memory or removable memory card.
Copy Device Album Photos to Computer You can view the photos stored in your Device Album by going to the Desktop Interface on the Web. Then from the Desktop Interface you can save a photo directly to your computer's hard drive.
Note! Only the photos saved on your device (in the Device Album) are backed up to the Danger service.
Copy Memory Card Photos to Computer
To copy photos stored in your memory card albums to your computer:
- Mount your microSD card to your computer by doing one of the following:
- remove the memory card and insert it into a microSD card reader attached to your computer, or
- attach your device to your computer via USB
- On your computer, find the mounted USB drive and open it.
- You should see a folder at the top-level named "DCIM". Open it.
- You should see .JPG files that appear in the default Memory Card Album. If you have created any other albums, they will appear as folders.
- Navigate through the photos in the DCIM folders, copying and pasting to your computer as you wish. Remember! Photos stored in the Device Album are not on the memory card.
- When finished, close the USB drive window and "unmount" or eject the drive as required by your computer's operating system. Remove the USB cable from your device and computer.
Copy Photos on Your Computer to Memory Card

Copy Memory Card Photos to Computer, steps 1-3. Then copy and paste the photos stored on your computer to the DCIM folder on your memory card. You can create a folder within the DCIM folder if you want the copied photos to appear in their own album in the Camera application. Otherwise, they will appear in the Memory Card Album.
