Connectivity Tips-Sidekick iDThis is a featured page

  • Connection to the service. You know that you're connected to the data service and are "online" when you see the Connectivity Tips-Sidekick iD - Sidekick in the title bar, next to the radio tower icon Connectivity Tips-Sidekick iD - Sidekick .
  • Roaming. You will not be told explicitly if you start roaming on a network that is not part of your wireless operator's network. One way you can check is to press JUMP Connectivity Tips-Sidekick iD - Sidekick , then check the network operator name on the Phone splash screen. If it's not your wireless operator, then you are most likely roaming. Remember that you could incur extra charges when roaming.
  • You can set your device to allow or disallow data roaming. First press JUMP Connectivity Tips-Sidekick iD - Sidekick then press MENU Connectivity Tips-Sidekick iD - Sidekick and select Settings > Network Options to open the Network Options screen. Prevent roaming by clearing the Allow GPRS Data Roaming check box. Once you've prevented data roaming, you will see DATA OFF flashing in the title bar if you go outside your wireless operator's network. Note also that preventing data roaming will not affect phone connectivity; you will still be able to use the phone even if DATA OFF is flashing in the title bar. To allow data roaming, simply select the Allow GPRS Data Roaming check box.
  • Signal Strength. To see the signal strength of your network connection, look in the title bar of your device to the right of the radio tower icon. You'll see up to four signal strength bars: Connectivity Tips-Sidekick iD - Sidekick . The more signal bars showing, the stronger the signal strength of the wireless connection at your current location. In this example, the signal strength is at its weakest, though still connected: Connectivity Tips-Sidekick iD - Sidekick .

When I first turned on the sidekick iD it showed me the "activation page" and eventually it showed me the sign in page. But I didn't know the password at that moment and I can't find a way to get myself back there...
    Anybody know how to?
