To set up a conference with your friends, do the following:

  1. From the Friends List screen, press MENU Conferencing -Sidekick LX - Sidekick then select Conference. The Conference dialog box appears.

  2. Edit the default Room Name if you wish.

  3. Your friends appear in the list on the left. Highlight then press the TRACKBALL to select each friend you want as a conference participant. If you want to invite someone not on your Friends List, then select the Invite More button.

  4. Once you have all the Participants listed on the right, press DONE Conferencing -Sidekick LX - Sidekick. The conference conversation window opens and invitations are sent to your friends.

  5. When a friend accepts, their Yahoo! ID appears in the conversation screen.

  6. During a conference you can add more participants by pressing MENU Conferencing -Sidekick LX - Sidekick and selecting Conference.

  7. To take yourself out of the conference, press MENU Conferencing -Sidekick LX - Sidekick then select End Conference. The other participants are notified that you've "left the room".

    Your conference "room name" is displayed on the Friends List under the folder named Conferences.
