Clearing Sidekick User DataThis is a featured page

  1. Remove your SIM card from your Sidekick
  2. Turn on your Sidekick
  3. Press menu, then select Settings, and then select System Info
  4. Press Menu, Shift, and X at the same time
  5. When prompted to confirm erasing, select Yes
  6. Next, press Menu, Shift and R at the same time
  7. Select Yes
  8. Restart your sidekick by pressing the 1, 0 and @ (not the number 2; the @ at the bottom left of the keyboard) keys
  9. As soon as the Sidekick starts to restart, push and hold the R button (you may need to restart more than once)
  10. Turn the Sidekick off and insert the SIM card, and then turn the Sidekick back on
  11. You will be prompted to enter the username and password for a Sidekick user

Directions....

Step 1 start up your phone without the sim card in it
Step 2 press menu and go to setting and then go to system info
step 3 press menu shift key and X at the same time (then it will ask you are you sure you want to erase press yes)
step 4 press menu shift key and R at the same time ( will do the same thing ask you if you want to reset
step 5 restart your sidekick LX without the sim card in by pressing 1 0 and the @ ( sim card should not have been inside to begin with) hold the R button down the phone will restart let it restart 4 times then let it go and let it boot up completely
Step 6 Insert sim card restart your phone enter user name and password and your all set
