open "My Computer" then select the Sidekick's drive3. You will see two folders listed, make a new folder here, name it "themes". (without the quotes)

hey i have my sidekick almost a year. its an lx. i can do background themes. but alsways there is the big phone and thinds like that in the middle of the screen. hiding the face of my favorite actor behind.
does anyone know how i can delt them? please. i can't find that out. i tried. |

.....there is somethingthat I have noticed that might be keeping your themes from loading right.
After extracting your theme check to see if you have extracted a "folder within a folder" meaning if you click on the folder with the name of the theme and you see another folder icon you have a folder within a folder. If this is the case then just extract the zip file onto your desktop by right-clicking on the zip file and then clicking "Extract to Themename/" where the actual name of the theme will be in place of "Themename" and it will extract it onto the desktop. Once you have done that, open the theme folder you have just extracted and locate the "inner" folder. Cut and paste that folder into the Theme folder you created on your Sidekick drive and then follow the rest of the instructions and you should be in business. If this seems a bit vague or confusing I apologize and if you need me to clarify anything just reply and let me know. Hope this helps. |
