Automatically Download New Messages


You may have the option to set a preference to download new messages automatically on your Sidekick LX. The presence of this setting is determined by your wireless operator. If you do see this option on your settings screen, it will appear in its own group box.

Select the check box if you want messages automatically downloaded to your Sidekick. Note that if you are roaming, messages will not be downloaded automatically to your device unless you also select the Auto-download even while roaming check box.

Note: If this option exists on your Multimedia Messaging Settings screen, and you do not select it, then, when a new message arrives, you will receive a dialog box asking if you want to download the message. The dialog box will include the message size, so if you are monitoring your mailbox limit (2M), you can make an informed decision.
