I have a sidekick 2 and everytime I activate the key gaurd the phone freezes. Anyone know a solution to this?

well i own a side kick 2 but it doesnt read my sim card.i can only use it ti receive calls but cant use it in makimg calls as well as sending messages and recieving.please i will like to get the code to keep it working.my address is g2004bone@yahoo.com

If a friend of mine bought his T-Mobile Sidekick 3,and he hadnt a MSN Messenger on it only an AOL Messenger!How do he get the MSN Messenger on his sidekick 3?

I use a T-Mobile Prepaid Card for 2 years and now ill buy me a sidekick 3 from ebay,so can i put my prepaid card into the sidekick 3?i dont wanna use the web or messaging services-i only want to make calls and sending short messages!is it possible?

On the owner's manual for the SIDEKICK 3 it says that there is an application where you can record ringtones. If its true, what application is it so I can Download it.... here's the webpage where i found this information...

So, I discussed by complaints with the Sidekick 3 below (at the beginning of this forum). Ever since I've had the Sidekick 3, it's had continuous audio problems, and I've gone back and forth with tmobile customer support over it.
So I call again today, this time essentially stating that I've had it with this unit, I've seen many complaints on the web about similar issues, and I want a replacement. Other folks who have had similar problems have had them resolved when the phone is replaced, so I would like to go that route. And I'm told that Danger is finally acknowledging that there is an issue, and they are looking for a software solution. In the interim, they will NOT accept phone returns for this problem. So I explain how it's not just the echo that the other party hears, but really crappy sound on my end. pops, buzzes, just really bad audio. So he puts me on hold to "research", and a few minutes comes back on and authorizes a return. But there's a catch. Because I did not purchase a $5.99 "insurance plan" with tmobile within 14 days of buying the phone, they cannot authorize an exchange unless they receive the phone first. So essentially they expect their customers who have defective phones to go without phone for a week or however long it takes for the exchange to occur. There's no sane reason for this, except to discourage returns of defective products. I had problems with my SK1, and they sent me a phone for the exchange beforehand. It was an easy process, and kept me satisfied with tmobile. Now that's changed. Tmobile seems to have forgotten the value of customer goodwill. I would discourace anyone from purchasing a sidekick until danger & tmobile their themselves sorted out. If you get a defective phone, and there's a reasonable chance you will, then they will try to screw you out of replacing it. Not acceptable.

hiya guys! I want to change my flip phone for a sidekick... now I'm not sure if sidekicks are GSM compatible, are they? Also, are they blocked? meaning, can I use it if I have a different phone carrier? please advice... pliecito@hotmail.com

I have difficulty with chargin my phone. It seems I have to play with the charger for quite a bit till it charges and after it says its charging, it suddenly stops chargin even tho the light is still on. when I remove it from the charger, its back on 1 batt. bar, ready to die.
any solutions?

dudes i cant figure out how to get my sidekicks background changed. i am a MAC user and i ready directions but they didnt help at all. i dont know how to create a ''themes'' folder in my memory card or something that is required for the backgrounds so somebody please help me out and remeber im using a MAC

On my sidekick I occasionally get very bad buzzing and popping on my end. It's sort of a Bzzzzt pop pop pop pop Bzzzzzt pop pop pop pop pattern (wow, I feel like I'm calling into cartalk here), that can be continuously in the background of my calls. It happens on about half of my calls. It's distracting, and I also have a higher number of audio dropouts at the same time.
I believe that this is correlated to when the phone is doing data transfers. |
