If they're filing a trouble ticket, you're talking to the wrong department or you're talking to someone who doesn't know what they're doing (assuming the systems are working properly). It takes 5 seconds, not counting picking a new username and backing up your e-mail.

Make sure you have a microSD card in your Sidekick, and then plug it into your computer via the USB cable. If you have a Windows PC, your Sidekick Slide's memory card should show up in Windows Explorer as a Removable Drive. Start dragging music files into the Music folder. Note, you can't copy DRM'd audio.

okay , so my friend gave me her sidekick 2008 . i bought a new sim card today at the store and they gave it too me and i left . it came with 28 mins , so i can text , but not log onto aim . it says " network unavailable " . . anyone have this problem or know how to fix it or what i should do ??

You need to switch your prepaid plan to the special Sidekick plan. $1/day for data, all calls are $0.15 per minute, and all refills have a 90-day expiration with no Gold Rewards options. Until you do that, nothing but text and calls will work.

I know it is possible to use a Sidekick as a prepaid phone, and the slide is being sold as a prepaid right now.
I read somewhere that you need a Sidekick activation code for the sidekick plan if you're using an older sidekick, meaning, one from a sidekick prepaid package only, that you wouldn't be able to use an activation code from a standard prepaid handset package because it would give you a standard prepaid plan. Is this true? Because Tmobile's prepaid activation website [http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/plans/activateprepaid.aspx?WT.mc_n=Prepaid_Activate&WT.mc_t=Other] has a 'Sidekick' plan option.
I am looking to purchase a used Sidekick 3 and then a standard 1208 prepaid Nokia for the sim and activation code if it would work.

try putting a thick piece of paper between tha sim and battery to push tha sim into tha slot...like when yu put the sim card in out a thick piece of paper in with it and see if it helps..my girlfriend had the same problem

i have a sidekick lx and my camera always says its low on memory and i barley have pics on my phone there was atmost 20 so i deleted some and it still said unable to capture...so then one day i deleting all my pics but it still says that =/

When I purchased my third Sidekick model last year, we were told that the Sidekick Sidekick was the latest and greatest...not the LX...by the T-Mobile Sales Rep...but I am reading on here, all along it was the LX? The LX was out when we made our purchase and T-Mobile said it wasnt the newest...can someone clarify which is the newest version?

I forgot my password and sign-in info on the software tmobile uses to sync the sidesicks...help! I havent used it so long and now that I need it, I am lost..there is no password reminder info or anything of the sort. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So, I bought an unlocked sidekick ID. ( I have AT&T, and it said thats all you can use besides T-Mobile )
It says I need a code to use it. I've heard that all you need to do is use the "Scan and select manually" option,
sellect Cingular and it'll work.
It doesn't. It says I have no sim, no service.
BUT, I can make and receive calls only.
I can't text or even make contacts.
Please help.

okay i dont really no to much about the tmobile service i know somthings not working whatever anyway..when someone texts calls or i.m. my phone never lights up or rings it just blinks blue when its sleeping i hate it sooo much i know it has to do with ur data plan and im pretty sure i have one ohh and also my , myfavs contacts doesnt show up on my phone screen i tried turning my phone off and on numerous timesss i dont know what to do please anyone help me
