To add a new myFaves contact (one that isn't already in your Address Book), start from the myFaves Contacts screen. If you want to add a contact already in your Address Book.

1. From the myFaves Contacts screen, use the TRACKBALL to highlight one of the icons in the left-hand ring.
   
2. Press MENU and select Add myFaves Contact [ N].
   
3. The New myFaves Contact dialog box appears:
   
4. First, add a custom icon for your myFaves contact. With highlighted, press the TRACKBALL to open the icon selector. Use the TRACKBALL to open the folders and browse through the icons; or Select from Photos.
   
   
   
   When you find an icon or photo you want to assign as the contact's myFaves icon, press the TRACKBALL to select the icon.
5. After selecting an icon, type the Nickname and Phone number, at a minimum. Note that the phone number must be 7 or 10 digits in length. You do not have to include spaces or dashes in the number. Select a Label for the phone number (such as mobile, personal, work) and assign a Ringtone if you wish.
6. When finished, press DONE . A confirmation screen appears, asking if you want to add this person to your myFaves plan. Select OK to add; select CANCEL to not add the person after all.
   
7. Your myFaves contact is "pending" until the Number Added to myFaves dialog box appears. Select OK .
   
8. You can now use myFaves to call or send this contact messages
