You can add contacts, change their group assignment, remove and move them. Your device will support 300 contacts, the same as the Windows Live Messenger desktop client. From your device you can add contacts, change their group assignment, remove and move them. To add a contact to your list, follow the steps below.

1. If your Contact List isn't displayed, press DONE until it appears.
   
   
2. Press MENU then select New Contact [ N]. The Add a Contact dialog box opens.
   
   
3. Type the contact's Email Address and in the Group pop-up menu, select the group in which you want the contact to appear.
   
   
4. Select DONE .
   
   

Tip: If you're having a conversation with a person not on your Contact List, you can add them to your list quickly by pressing MENU then selecting New Contact. Their name is pre-populated in the New Contact dialog box.
