About the Browse Contacts Screen-Sidekick LXThis is a featured page


The Browse Contacts screen is the main view into your Address Book. On this screen, individual contacts are listed, along with the first phone number that appears in the Phone section of their contact information. If no phone number is available on your Sidekick, then an email address or other piece of information provided is shown.

You can specify to show "All" your contacts on this screen or just one category of contacts. Note that the "All" category does not include the count for contacts on your SIM card.

You can store 2000 contacts in your Address Book
on your Sidekick. For each contact you can keep these categories of information:

  • Ten Phone numbers
  • Five Email addresses
  • Five IM (instant messaging) names
  • Three Web addresses (URLs)
  • Three Street addresses
  • One Note

"My vCard" You can designate one of your contacts as your own on your Sidekick. This special contact is designated with an icon to the left of your name in the contact list:About the Browse Contacts Screen-Sidekick LX - Sidekick. By assigning a contact as "My vCard", you will be able to send your contact information quickly to another person.

About Context Menus With a contact highlighted, you can open a "context menu" that gives you options for calling, emailing, sending a vCard, etc. for that contact. To open a context menu you can take any of the following actions:

  • Presssidekick2 - Animals and hold while pressing the TRACKBALL quickly.

  • Press and hold the TRACKBALL.
